Seagate HDD ST1000LM035 MCMT table is corrupted

“MCMT table is corrupted” is one very common firmware error output in the COM terminal. The following patient HDD is one firmware corrupted case from one Italian DFL user.

MCMT table is corrupted

To fix above case, the user made a backup of the original rom, generated unlock rom, wrote unlock rom, power off and on, send unlock key, backup the important SYS files, cleared glist and regenerated translator. During this firmware repair process, users must pay attention to the NGlist entries before and after the translator regneration. This will help to fix the HDD partial sector access issue easily.
