When users buy HDD Power Monitor Smart, users will get both hardware and software, the hardware is used to connect the USB cable to PC, connect power cable to hard drive and connect usb cable to a second HDD Power Monitor Smart card. The software will show the detailed hdd voltage and current status and related parameters.
If the hard drive has bad sectors, the curves will have many ups and downs. If the hard drive has head issue, stuck motor or PCB has Short-circuit，users will see overcurrent status. It’s very easy to check and see the status by the curves’ changes.
