“Hi Guys,

Read the docs a few times, and watched some of the videos, the errors were all on assorted tracks, so I assumed data corruption, and not media failure.

I, got adventurous, and started writing modules today, I tried a few of the higher numbered ones first, (2001+) successfully, one at a time, with the donor modules, just to see if they would write/clear error, they did..

When I wrote module 11.rpm, from the donor, and reset the drive, it’s identity returned, I then completed the remaining modules, some even seem to have fixed themselves.

I was then able to rebuild the MBR, and discover the partitions, also successfully.

Data recovery was 100% I got every single file off the drive! The disk is also usable.

Needless to say, I am absolutely ecstatic, I am a hero to my customer, and a very happy customer of yours..
